Consultation on Proposed Changes to Admission Arrangements 2027-28
We are proposing to amend the admission arrangements for Lynch Hill School Primary Academy for entry 2027/28. Please use the link below for further information on the Consultation and how you can feed back into it.
Introduction
Lynch Hill School is an academy school and is its own admission authority, forming part of the Slough and East Berks Multi Academy Trust (SEBMAT). When an admission authority wishes to make changes to their admission arrangements, they must consult to ensure all views are heard. We are consulting on the following change to the admission arrangements for Birch Hill Primary School:
Proposal to reduce the Published Admissions Number (PAN) from 120 to 90
Why are we proposing this change?
There is a surplus of places in the area and the school has seen a fall in their roll. A reduction in PAN will help the governing body and SEBMAT provide stability in their long-term planning, including both the set-up of the school and budget planning. Copies of the proposed arrangements can be found in the attached document below.
Consultation on the Proposed Admission Arrangements 2027-28
How can you respond?
We would like to hear your views on these proposals. Please send any comments regarding the above proposed changes by emailing the Headteacher's PA: m.cawte@lhspa.org.uk
The consultation takes place between 27 November 2025 to 15 January 2025
What happens next?
After the consultation closes the responses will be collated and presented to the Admissions Committee at Lynch Hill School and SEBMAT who will decide whether or not to proceed with the proposed changes and determine the admission arrangements. The admission arrangements will then be determined, and the outcome will be published on the school website by 15 March 2026.
