Lunchtime Menu

We are delighted to be able to offer a hot school lunch to all children which is prepared by our talented in-house Catering Team. Our menu meets the national school food standards and rotates on a three week basis. The children can choose either a meat meal, vegetarian alternative or jacket potato and a dessert.
We source our ingredients from local and regional certified suppliers. We use Red Tractor accredited British Meat and Poultry and our fish is from sustainable fisheries and is Marine Stewardship Approved (MSC).
Universal Free School Meals were introduced in September 2014. This means that all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for a free school meal every day. Naturally, we hope that parents of children in these year groups will take advantage of this fantastic opportunity for their child to enjoy a free hot meal every day.
All children may also be eligible for Free School Meals, a scheme by which the school attracts additional funding from the government called Pupil Premium. As well as Free School Meals, this funding is targeted at the registered pupils to help support their education in a variety of ways. If you think you may be eligible for funding, please register your child for this benefit. The alternative is that the school will miss out on vital funding.
