The Prevent Duty
The Prevent Duty is part of the government’s counter terrorism strategy, to safeguard and support those susceptible to radicalisation and to stop them becoming involved in terrorism or supporting terrorism.
Children may be susceptible to radicalisation into terrorism. Similar to protecting children from other forms of harms and abuse, protecting children from this risk is part of our school’s safeguarding approach.
