The School Day

We encourage all children to arrive promptly at 8:30am each morning in order to make the best start to the school day. Please note that although the class registration currently ends at 8:50 each morning in order to help ease congestion, we will be carefully reviewing arrival times and will look to move this forward to 8:45 from Autumn 2.

The timetable below includes before and after school activities and the times that they run.




Monday - Friday: Early Morning Sports' Clubs


Breakfast club: Children can have their breakfast and a drink, catch up with their homework or play with their friends. The cost for this club will be £2.00 per day.



Pupils’ doors open. They go straight to their classroom for early morning activities and registration.


Pupils begin their first main lesson of the day

Lessons end and classroom doors open


Children in Y4 -6 are taken to the playground for dismissing or to the KS2 pedestrian gates. Parents should collect their children by no later than 3:20pm

After School Clubs

Although we offer provision for all children from 8:30am each morning, the school day (i.e. the compulsory part of the school day) is currently from 8.50am until 3.05pm. This amounts to 6 hours and 15 minutes per day or 31.25 hours per week and will be amended further in readiness for September 2023.
