Pupil Support Lead

Miss Robinson is our Pupil Support Lead who supports challenging behaviour and emotional wellbeing across the school.

Miss Robinson has qualifications and certifications in Mentoring Children and Young People, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is part of our Anti-Bullying Team in school, including being our Stonewall Champion.

She works to try and identify the root causes of a young person's difficulties, with the aim of giving them tools and strategies to overcome or manage these. Work is undertaken one-to-one or group setting, both in the classroom or on the playground.

Another aspect of supporting pupils includes conflict resolution, in which she uses restorative practice to help educate children to reflect on behavioural choices and support in making more positive choices moving forward.

Miss Robinson runs Lunch Club provisions in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 which support children socially, learning key skills such as kind play, turn-taking and modelling positive peer interactions. Miss Robinson believes in the ethos of Connection before Correction, creating and utilising reward systems to incentivise and motivate children to achieve their full potential.
